Case - Elixsir

Elixsir is a sustainable syrup brand design I created from scratch. It’s a complete brand experience developed with care—from the very first idea to the final presentation. This case explores the full creative process behind Elixsir: building the concept, crafting the visual identity, designing eco-conscious packaging, and bringing it all to life through a website and promotional video.

I wanted Elixsir to be more than just a pretty design. The goal was to create a sustainable syrup brand design that feels thoughtful, easy to use, and genuinely better for the planet—without compromising on style or functionality.

What Is Elixsir?

At its core, Elixsir is about making coffee sirup simple and environmentally conscious. The product: small, single-use syrup capsules made with high-quality ingredients. The twist? The entire experience—from the capsule to the packaging—is designed to reduce waste, be easy to use, and still feel like a small luxury in your daily routine.

I created the entire brand from scratch. That meant developing the strategy, crafting the messaging, designing the logo and visual identity, and applying it across every touchpoint. This included packaging design, a custom website concept, a promotional campaign video, and branded content for social media and retail use.

Each step in the process was carefully considered to support the brand’s core message: less waste, more flavor. That meant not only focusing on clean design and usability, but also aligning every decision with values like transparency, sustainability, and user-centered thinking.

Packaging Design

The Elixsir packaging design was one of my favorite parts of the project, because it allowed me to blend practicality with visual storytelling. The packaging is made entirely from recyclable cardboard and is inspired by the tactile, familiar look of traditional coffee bags—something that already feels at home in your kitchen.

Functionality was just as important as aesthetics. The box includes a simple, intuitive opening mechanism so that it’s easy to access your syrup capsules while keeping everything neat and organized. No messy bottles or sticky caps—just a smooth system that works with your morning routine, not against it.

Each capsule flavor is represented by its own color palette, carefully chosen to reflect its taste and personality. This not only helps the user quickly identify their favorites, but also adds a layer of personality and warmth to the overall packaging experience.

Website
I created a complete web design concept in Figma, focusing on a clean layout and a modern, welcoming look. The site structure is built to guide users through the Elixsir story—from discovering the product to learning about the sustainable mission, and finally, purchasing their favorite capsules. Every element was designed with usability in mind: large buttons, simple navigation, accessible fonts, and mobile responsiveness.

The content emphasizes clarity and storytelling. I included space for flavor descriptions, sustainability information and user reviews. The design mirrors the brand’s values—clean, minimal, and people-focused—while also being playful yet professional.

Video
To help bring the brand to life even further, I created a short campaign video that walks viewers through the story behind Elixsir. The video highlights the product, explains the mission, and introduces the visual identity in motion.

Since I didn’t have access to a voice actor, I used a text-to-speech model for the voiceover. While not ideal, it allowed me to communicate the concept in a clear and structured way. If this were a real-world launch, I would definitely invest in a professional voiceover and music license to elevate the video’s emotional impact and polish.

Reflection

Elixsir has been one of the most rewarding and educational projects I’ve worked on. It gave me the opportunity to stretch across multiple disciplines—branding, packaging, video and storytelling—while staying true to a central vision and message.

One of the biggest takeaways from this project was learning how to balance creativity with responsibility. Designing something sustainable isn’t just about choosing recycled materials, it’s about asking: how will this be used? Where will it live? How can it make someone’s life just a little easier, without leaving a bigger footprint?

The process also helped me define what kind of designer I want to be. Someone who pays attention to detail, who listens to what people need, and who designs with empathy and purpose.

At the heart of Elixsir is a simple belief: design can be beautiful and responsible. Functional and emotional. Thoughtful and joyful. And I think that’s what I’ll carry with me into every project that comes next.
